Sewstern Lane Planning History

As can be seen from the above map, Sewstern Lane wind farm is to comprise of 6 x 110m turbines.

The site is exactly the same as the Thacksons Well wind farm (10 x 125m), which was dismissed by the Planning Inspectorate, following an initial refusal by South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) and then a public inquiry.

Whirlwind Renewables submitted a scoping opinion to SKDC (S14/1491) on the 16th May 2014.  This is a national requirement for all planning proposals which require a full environmetal impact assessment (EIA).
